Odd

I was smiled at today.

Not just a glancing, social-contract, almost-bumped-into-each-other, flick of the cheeks, but deliberately smiled at.

I instinctively smiled back. I couldn't help it, it just happened.

Then I kept smiling.

Just because someone intentionally took half a second out of their day, paused, looked directly at me, and smiled.

For no reason.

I haven't smiled in a bit. I'm not entirely sure if this pleasant feeling is normal, if it's supposed to be, or if it's truly as rare as I suspect.
